Slide provided by Niels Lademark Heegaard from Platon. This slide shows the number of screens that need to be completed for a finished good that is manufactured. ( He reckons there is really 75 screens but he ran out of space on the slide so just went for the major ones.)

 

There are a number of Master Data Management solutions that simplify this activity to a handfull of screens whilst giving greater control of descriptions and classification and avoiding duplicate creation.
